Ray Jan Saavedra is a Molchanovs Wave 2 Instructor. He is a 60m diver and has earned his Instructor License from the World Class training center at Camotes Freediving.

He was trained by Jimmy Jeanot, 105m diver, Head of Safety for AIDA OceanQuest, for his Master Freediver certification.

For his Instructor License, he was under the tutelage of Thibault Guignes, 120m diver, French National Record Holder & Head of Education for Molchanovs.

Although he has competition experience. He doesn't like competitions all that much. He just dives for fun.

It's his opinion that a 5m dive at the reef can be just as beautiful as 100m dive in to the blue.

In his spare time he reads Science Fiction, Fantasy, and a little bit of Philosophy here and there.
